Every summer, my grandparents would take all of the grandkids camping. When we were packing, I always brought along a little disposable camera. My mother used to tell me to take pictures of everything she couldn't be there to see. I remember coming back home, getting the film developed, and having pictures with unusual angles and unique ways of looking at things. I've always been that way. I've always been creative in some way.
Entering my sophomore year of high school, I decided that photography was something that I absolutely loved. I began begging my friends to let me photograph them, and they gladly excepted. Since then, I've grown to love photography even more and I have learned so much. I purchased my first 'heavy duty' camera in March 2008,and began offering sessions to family friends and eventually even strangers. Later that summer, in a rush to grow up, I quit taking photos and started a "real job". My camera sat in my closet for a year and a half until I just recently picked it up again. Now, I'm ready to start doing what I love again.
